A well-established multidisciplinary engineering consultancy is looking to appoint a Civil Team Lead to support the continued growth of its Civil Engineering team. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Civil Engineer or Senior Engineer looking to take the next step into a leadership position, managing project delivery, mentoring engineers and technicians, and helping drive the continued expansion of a successful infrastructure team.

The Role
As Civil Team Lead, you will be responsible for overseeing project delivery while providing technical and managerial leadership to the wider civil engineering team. Responsibilities include:
- Leading the delivery of infrastructure and drainage design projects
- Managing project budgets, resources and programmes
- Reviewing and approving technical designs, drawings and reports
- Mentoring and developing junior engineers and technicians
- Managing client relationships and acting as a key point of contact
- Coordinating multidisciplinary project teams
- Supporting recruitment and team growth initiatives
- Assisting with business development and project bidding activities
Requirements
- Degree qualified in Civil Engineering or related discipline
- Strong experience in development infrastructure design
- Proven background delivering highways and drainage projects
- Good understanding of Section 38, Section 278 and Section 104 agreements
- Experience using Civil 3D, AutoCAD and drainage software such as InfoDrainage or MicroDrainage
- Previous project management and client-facing experience
- Chartered status or progress towards Chartership would be advantageous
