My client is a mechanical engineering company that has been in operation for over 50 years, providing mechanical engineering solutions to their diverse portfolio of clients.

They are now seeking a commercial gas engineer to work on a mobile basis, primarily working across their Camden Commercial contract with some work across London and the home counties expected to cover sickness/holidays if needed.

The Role:

  • Looking after the planned and reactive maintenance of commercial gas heating and hot water systems (plant rooms mainly).
  • Must be ACS Gas Qualified with more than 2 years left to run on current certificate.
  • Must be Unvented Qualified with proven plumbing/mechanical ability.

Package:

  • £55,000.00 basic salary.
  • Travel time paid after 30 minutes each way.
  • 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday between 08:00 and 16:30 hours (0.5 hour lunch break).
  • SSP and SHP (Bank Holidays included, it is 28 days in total).
  • Van, uniform, fuel card, tablet, phone, and specialist tools provided (Engineer to provide own hand tools).
  • Full Induction Training (Including IT provided).
  • Private use of van allowed.
  • Auto Enrolment Pension.
