I am currently representing an established building services company who are looking to recruit an experienced Mobile Commercial Maintenance Plumber to join their growing team across the North West region due to continued growth. The company specialise in delivering mechanical and building maintenance services across a varied portfolio of commercial properties throughout Lancashire and Greater Manchester. They have an established client base and continue to secure long-term maintenance contracts across the region.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced commercial plumber with strong maintenance and water hygiene knowledge to join a stable and growing business working across a range of commercial environments.
The ideal candidate will have experience working within occupied commercial buildings carrying out planned and reactive plumbing maintenance, remedial works, and water hygiene tasks including TMV servicing and Legionella compliance.
THE ROLE- Monday – Friday – 40-hour working week
- Mobile role covering Lancashire & Greater Manchester
- Working across commercial properties including schools, offices, councils and public sector buildings
- Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive plumbing works
- Installation, maintenance and repair of commercial plumbing and heating systems
- Servicing hot & cold water systems, sanitary ware, valves, pumps and associated plant equipment
- Carrying out water hygiene tasks including temperature monitoring and remedial works
- TMV servicing and maintenance
- Diagnosing and repairing plumbing faults efficiently
- Ensuring all works comply with health & safety and water hygiene regulations
- Completing job sheets, reports and certification paperwork
- Candidate must be able to pass Enhanced DBS checks
- NVQ Level 2 or Level 3 Plumbing qualification (or equivalent)
- Legionella Awareness / Water Hygiene experience
- Previous experience within commercial maintenance environments
- Experience working on live/occupied commercial buildings
- Strong knowledge of commercial water systems and remedial works
- Experience removing dead legs and working with copper and plastic pipework systems
- Experience carrying out planned and remedial maintenance works including TMV servicing
- Unvented Hot Water qualification
- Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Gas Safe qualifications (Commercial or Domestic)
- Electrical knowledge
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics
- £36,000 - £42,000 depending on experience
