About the Role:
We are looking for a highly organised Lead Administrator / Service Coordinator to join our team based in Dartford, Kent. This key position supports the smooth running of our operations, working closely with our Contracts Manager and Quantity Surveyor, while also providing essential administrative support across the business. Ideally, you will have experience in the electrical or fire industry, and be confident managing engineer diaries, coordinating reactive and planned jobs, and maintaining strong client relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinating the diaries and daily schedules of field engineers
- Uploading job sheets and documentation to internal systems
- Liaising with clients regarding appointments, updates, and follow-ups
- Supporting the Contracts Manager and QS with administrative tasks
- Assisting with project tracking, job progress, and reporting
- Handling general office admin, calls, and email correspondence
- Occasional client visits to maintain strong working relationships
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a similar role (service coordination / admin)
- Industry experience in electrical or fire safety (preferred but not essential)
- Strong organisational and multitasking skills
- Good communication and interpersonal abilities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and general IT systems
- Team player with a proactive, can-do attitude
