We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven BMS Sales Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in Building Management Systems, excellent sales skills, and the ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships. This role combines technical expertise with sales acumen to provide tailored solutions for clients while driving revenue growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Sales and Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the BMS market. Develop and execute sales strategies to meet or exceed sales targets. Build and maintain strong relationships with consultants, contractors, end-users, and other key stakeholders. Promote the company's BMS products and solutions to prospective and existing clients.
- Technical Consultation: Provide technical guidance to customers, demonstrating the capabilities and benefits of BMS solutions. Assess client needs and design tailored BMS solutions in collaboration with the technical and design teams. Prepare and deliver presentations, proposals, and system demonstrations.
- Project Support: Collaborate with project and engineering teams to ensure seamless integration and delivery of BMS solutions. Act as a liaison between clients and internal teams during the sales cycle and project execution.
- Market Analysis and Reporting: Conduct market research to identify trends, competitor offerings, and emerging opportunities. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry developments, standards, and regulations. Prepare regular sales and activity reports for management.
Qualifications and Skills
- Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Electronics, or related field) or a related technical discipline.
- Experience: Proven experience in sales or technical roles related to Building Management Systems, HVAC, or automation solutions. Strong understanding of BMS products, protocols (e.g., BACnet, Modbus), and system integration.
- Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with clients. Strong technical aptitude and ability to explain complex concepts in a simplified manner. Self-driven with excellent organizational and time-management abilities. Proficiency in CRM tools, MS Office Suite, and other relevant software.
- Certifications: Relevant certifications in BMS or HVAC systems are a plus (e.g., Tridium, Siemens, Schneider, Honeywell).
