- Deliver detailed Electrical Building Services Design Engineering for new builds and refurbishments
- Support senior staff during feasibility studies, concept, and scheme design stages
- Attend design meetings with other team members
- Inspect and report on electrical building services systems
- Use specialised software for building services design calculations
- Ensure designs comply with health and safety standards and legislation
- Produce marked-up drawings for CAD or directly create CAD drawings
- Select and specify electrical products, equipment, and installation standards for accurate costing and contractor installation
- As a Senior Electrical Engineer, lead surveys, designs, drawings, and specifications within larger project teams
- The ideal candidate will hold a degree (or equivalent) in Electrical Engineering and possess the experience and qualifications to achieve Incorporated Engineer status, aligned with IET or CIBSE standards.
- Proficiency in designing electrical systems, from concept to detailed design (BSRIA BG6 Stage 4A), including low voltage electrical distribution, lighting, power supplies, fire alarms, ICT cabling, and cable containment
- Experience with Amtech software
- Ability to read and interpret AutoCAD drawings
- Knowledge of Building Regulations Part L compliance
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications
- Expertise in technical design software
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
