– Position: Senior Civil Drainage Infrastructure Engineer

– Salary: £45,000 – £55,000 – Depending On Experience
– Company/Team Size: 300+ employees and 12 people in the civils team
– Projects: Residential , commercial , industrial , schools , hospitals.
Key Responsibilities/Experience:
– Complex Problem Solving: Provide solutions for drainage, civil, and utility engineering challenges.
– Infrastructure Planning and Design skills:
- Develop conceptual drainage schemes.
- Negotiate and secure S104 and S106 agreements with sewerage authorities.
- Interpret and discharge planning conditions related to drainage, highways, and infrastructure.
- Use 3D design software for utility clash detection analysis.
- Develop infrastructure design packages from concept through to construction.
– Software Proficiency:
- Expertise in Autodesk Civil 3D and MicroDrainage for network modelling in various environments.
-Technical Documentation: Produce technical memos, design reports, and drawings/models.
– Highways Design: Familiarity with UK design standards and experience negotiating S38 and S278 applications.
Required Experience:
– Post-Graduate Experience: Minimum of 4 years in a design consultancy or contracting environment.
– Project Work: Experience in both single and multi-discipline projects, with a preference for those with project management experience.
