A Brief Overview
The Senior Project Manager / Program Manager leads large-scale, complex business and technology initiatives that deliver measurable business value.
This role is accountable for the successful planning, governance, execution and realization of strategic programs, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives.
You will partners with senior leaders, business stakeholders, technology teams and external vendors to manage risks, dependencies, budgets and resources while driving successful outcomes across multiple workstreams, functions and geographies.
What you will do
- Lead strategic projects and programs from initiation through implementation and benefits realization.
- Establish project governance, plans, schedules, budgets and reporting frameworks.
- Manage dependencies, risks, issues, scope and resource requirements across multiple initiatives.
- Provide executive-level communications and status reporting.
- Partner with business and technology leaders to align delivery with strategic objectives.
- Apply Agile, Waterfall and hybrid delivery approaches as appropriate.
- Lead organizational change management and adoption activities.
- Coach and mentor project managers and project team members .
- Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
- 8-10+ years of project and/or program management experience.
- Experience leading large cross-functional business and technology initiatives.
- Strong stakeholder, vendor and financial management experience.
- Exceptional communication, influencing and leadership skills.
- Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree.
- PMP, PRINCE2, Scrum Master, Agile or ITIL certification.
- Financial services, insurance or reinsurance industry experience.
