Grounded in strong design fundamentals, they balance craft and systems thinking to identify user needs, interpret client challenges, and create visual languages that are as intuitive as they are beautiful.
As a Senior Visual Designer at R/GA, you’ll be responsible for defining concepts, creating design strategies and systems, and overseeing the delivery of visual design artefacts across projects. We are looking for a mix of conceptual thinking, design craft and flair to create meaningful and memorable work. A key part of this role is using AI as a tool to augment creativity and craft. You’ll use emerging technologies to expand ideas, elevate exploration and advance processes.
Here’s what you should know if you want to be a Senior Visual Designer at R/GA:
- Create best-in-class design outputs that meet R/GA’s standards of craft and innovation.
- Create designs such as user interface, design systems, layouts, brand identity, iconography, and presentation narratives.
- Collaborate with strategy, experience design, and technology teams to translate ideas into tangible outcomes.
- Partner with Creative Directors to define creative direction and execute the design vision.
- Integrate AI and emerging tools into the design process to enhance creativity and execution.
- Manage the quality and consistency of visual design across all phases of a project.
- Mentor and guide Designers and Junior Designers, helping to elevate the overall craft of the team.
- Participate constructively in cross-discipline communications and presentations.
- Execute design work to ensure final deliverables meet R/GA standards and client expectations.
The ideal person:
- Has a proven ability to produce cutting edge creative work, and an advanced understanding of design.
- Has a passion for design and is aware of emerging trends and technologies.
- Brings a proactive, positive attitude and thrives in a collaborative environment.
- Demonstrates excellent attention to detail when creating design artifacts and assets.
- Has deep experience designing user interfaces and experiences for responsive websites, products, and mobile applications.
- Exhibits exceptional communication skills within the agency team and with clients.
- Is open to feedback and approaches new problems with curiosity.
- Embraces challenges and new methods of thinking.
- Is able to create and craft award winning work.
You Bring:
- 4+ years agency experience or similar.
- Advanced knowledge of design fundamentals and methodologies.
- Advanced knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, Keynote and emerging AI tools.
- Prototyping experience.
- Motion design experience is a plus.
