R/GA is an independent creative innovation company built for the intelligence age. We harness the power of design and technology to create more valuable experiences for people and brands. From reimagining interfaces with AI to launching entirely new platforms and services, we help organisations adapt to what’s next and shape what comes after. Our teams combine craft, curiosity and technology to deliver work that drives both business and human impact. At R/GA, we don’t just respond to change — we help shape it.
The Role
This is a craft-driven role for someone who can confidently tackle today’s experience design challenges while helping shape the interfaces of the future. It’s about designing experiences that are intuitive, intelligent and inclusive, grounded in solid UX principles and open to evolution. Experimentation is essential; we’re looking for someone who questions convention, embraces emerging technologies and contributes to defining new standards in an AI-driven world. We’re also looking for people who bring energy and ambition. Designers who care deeply about the craft, get excited by complex problems, and see design as a superpower.
You’ll work closely with strategy, technology, creative and client teams to turn insight into innovation. Whether you’re mapping a product journey, prototyping a new interaction, or pushing the limits of what AI tools can do, you’ll bring a clear perspective on how technology can unlock better experiences for people and brands.
On any given day you might be:
- Leading the UX design on products, services and platforms across a range of industries
- Exploring how AI-powered interactions (e.g. conversational UIs, generative interfaces, smart automation) can deliver more human experiences
- Designing experiences that evolve and adapt to human interactions
- Using generative technology and other tools to concept, prototype, and test ideas faster and smarter
- Translating research into clear user flows, wireframes, and design systems
- Collaborating with visual designers, strategists, technologists and clients to shape the work
- Facilitating workshops and collaborative working sessions
- Presenting and rationalising design decisions to internal teams and external stakeholders
- Contributing to how we build, lead and evolve design teams at R/GA
You’d be the right fit if you:
- Are curious about what’s next for UX and see AI as a key part of that evolution
- Have experience launching digital products or services that put people first
- Bring a clear, structured approach to problem-solving
- Have the ability to turn creative concepts into clear, actionable design
- Think in systems and patterns, not just screens
- Are comfortable working in an agile, collaborative, fast-moving environment
- Can clearly articulate your ideas, rationale and ambition
- Are excited to experiment with AI-powered design tools, and build your own
- Have a strong sense of craft, care about the details, and take pride in making things better
You bring:
- 4+ years of experience in UX, product, service or interaction design
- A portfolio that shows thoughtful, real-world design solutions and the thinking behind them
- Mastery of Figma, Miro, Google Workspace and other prototyping and collaborative tools
- Strong prototyping skills with the ability to quickly bring ideas to life and explore interactions at different levels of fidelity
- Hands-on experience with AI tools such as ChatGPT, Midjourney, Runway, ElevenLabs, GitHub Copilot, or your own custom stack
- A track record of using AI in your design process, whether through prototyping, testing, or building internal tools
- A solid understanding of interaction design principles, accessibility, and inclusive design
- A drive to contribute to the culture of a progressive, multidisciplinary team
