Site Manager – Retail Fit-Out Project

Contract Length: Approximately 12 weeks

Project Details
A £1.2 million retail fit-out project for a retail location. The role begins on 29th June.
Responsibilities
- Deliver project standalone, reporting to a visiting contract manager.
- Sequence and short‑term program the work.
- Manage trade coordination, site inductions, and permits.
- Lead toolbox talks and enforce H&S on site.
- Execute quality assurance and quality control.
- Produce daily site supervision reports.
- Work to tight deadlines and influence H&S on site.
- Program and manage the project.
Scope of Works
- HVAC installation and commissioning
- Electrical installations
- Data and structured cabling
- Fire alarm and fire protection systems
- Shopfitting and retail fit‑out works
- Coordination of subcontractors and suppliers
- Health & Safety management
- Quality control and programme management
- Daily site supervision and reporting
Qualifications
Required: SMSTS, CSCS and First Aid qualified.
Experience: Previous experience in retail fit‑out and shopfitting projects. Experience coordinating MEP services and fast‑track retail programmes preferred.
Other: Ability to influence H&S on site and deliver under tight deadlines.
