I'm currently working with a leading global data centre operator who are looking to add an experienced Maintenance Electrician to their engineering team at a flagship site near Liverpool Street, London.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an electrically qualified engineer who wants to move into, or further their career within, the rapidly growing data centre sector while enjoying the Monday-to-Friday work-life balance.
You’ll be responsible for the maintenance and operation of critical electrical building services infrastructure, ensuring the reliability and uptime of a world-class mission‑critical facility.

The Role
You’ll be carrying out both planned and reactive maintenance across a range of critical electrical infrastructure including:
- LV electrical systems
- UPS systems
- Generators
- Switchgear
- Distribution boards
- Emergency lighting systems
- Building services equipment
This is a hands‑on engineering role within a highly technical environment where safety, reliability and attention to detail are paramount.
We’re Keen to Speak with Engineers Who Have:
- NVQ Level 3 / City & Guilds Electrical Qualification
- 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
- Experience carrying out planned and reactive maintenance
- Backgrounds in commercial buildings, critical environments, healthcare, banking, industrial sites, manufacturing or data centres
- Strong fault‑finding and problem‑solving abilities
- A desire to develop within the mission‑critical sector
