About the Opportunity

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Area Service Delivery Manager to join a growing organisation within the construction and facilities management sector. This role is responsible for overseeing the delivery of maintenance services across multiple sites, leading teams of multi-skilled engineers, and ensuring operational excellence. You will play a key role in improving performance, maintaining compliance, and building strong client relationships.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, supervise, and mentor engineering teams across a designated area
  • Recruit, train, and develop engineers to enhance performance and capability
  • Drive productivity, efficiency, and service delivery standards
  • Conduct performance reviews and support development planning
  • Oversee and support capital projects within your region
  • Monitor KPIs and SLAs, using data to improve service performance
  • Ensure full compliance with Health & Safety standards and regulations
  • Conduct site audits and regular engineer visits (minimum twice per year)
  • Manage stock control and approve timesheets
  • Act as the primary escalation point for site-related issues
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders and partners
  • Identify and implement process improvements and operational efficiencies

About You

We are looking for a confident and experienced leader with a strong background in service delivery or facilities management.

  • Recognised trade qualification or FM management qualification
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in service delivery or operations management
  • Proven experience managing teams across multiple locations
  • Strong leadership, organisational, and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
