We are currently recruiting for an experienced Electrical Engineer to join a large UK Facilities Management company, working on a key manufacturing contract in Long Sutton. This is an excellent opportunity to work within a fast-paced FMCG environment, supporting critical production operations and ensuring all electrical systems and services are maintained to the highest standard.

Key Responsibilities

  • Delivering planned preventative maintenance (PPM), reactive maintenance, and fault diagnosis across a wide range of electrical systems and building services equipment.
  • Working within a multi-skilled engineering team to ensure maximum plant uptime, minimal disruption to production, and full compliance with statutory and safety regulations.
  • Electrical fault finding, repairs, testing, inspection, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives across the site.
  • Responding promptly to breakdowns, identifying root causes, and implementing effective corrective actions.
  • Maintaining safe systems of work, ensuring all maintenance activities are carried out in line with company procedures, health & safety standards, and client requirements.
  • Liaising with both internal teams and client representatives.

About You

The ideal candidate will have proven experience as an Electrical Engineer within a facilities management, industrial, or manufacturing environment. A strong understanding of electrical systems, controls, and maintenance practices is essential, along with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a busy operational setting. You will be proactive, safety-conscious, and confident in diagnosing and resolving electrical faults efficiently. Experience within FMCG or food production environments would be highly advantageous.
