We are currently recruiting for a Finance Assistant to join the Purchase ledger team for a UK Wide Facilities Maintenance company. This role is a 2 Month contract with possible extension.
Main Duties:
- Reconciliation of all invoices to orders.
- Notification and follow up of discrepancies following defined procedures.
- Batching invoices for posting.
- Deal with purchase enquiries.
- Resolve ledger queries.
- Telephone, scanning and email internal and external buyers, commercial surveyors and supplier contacts.
- Assist in preparation of purchase ledger summaries.
- Assist with month end/year end procedures.
- Check and reconcile supplier statements.
- Schedule supplier payments.
- Related purchase ledger tasks as required.
What we are looking for:
- Experience in a similar role Finance or Purchase Ledger role.
- Good understanding of invoicing and invoicing software.
- Excellent organisational skills.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Good IT skills, including Microsoft Excel.
