We are currently recruiting for a Finance Assistant to join the Purchase ledger team for a UK Wide Facilities Maintenance company. This role is a 2 Month contract with possible extension.

Main Duties:

  • Reconciliation of all invoices to orders.
  • Notification and follow up of discrepancies following defined procedures.
  • Batching invoices for posting.
  • Deal with purchase enquiries.
  • Resolve ledger queries.
  • Telephone, scanning and email internal and external buyers, commercial surveyors and supplier contacts.
  • Assist in preparation of purchase ledger summaries.
  • Assist with month end/year end procedures.
  • Check and reconcile supplier statements.
  • Schedule supplier payments.
  • Related purchase ledger tasks as required.

What we are looking for:

  • Experience in a similar role Finance or Purchase Ledger role.
  • Good understanding of invoicing and invoicing software.
  • Excellent organisational skills.
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Good IT skills, including Microsoft Excel.
