We are supporting a leading Facilities Management (FM) provider in recruiting a Maintenance Technician / Plumber to join their team working on a prestigious aviation contract. This is a stable, long-term role in a fast-paced, live airport environment where no two days are the same.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Planned & Reactive Maintenance across plumbing systems, including unblocking drains, cleaning toilets, and addressing general plumbing issues.
- General Building Maintenance: Fixing and maintaining plumbing systems, ensuring that all facilities are functioning properly, including toilet repairs and unblocking.
- Basic Fabric Repairs: Conducting minor repairs to fixtures, fittings, and general building maintenance.
- Handyman Tasks: Managing general maintenance and small works as needed, keeping all areas in operational condition.
- Health & Safety: Working safely and compliantly as part of a dedicated onsite team, ensuring all tasks meet safety standards and regulations.
What We're Looking For:
- Experience in Facilities or Building Maintenance with a hands-on approach.
- Basic Plumbing Skills: Comfortable unblocking toilets, handling minor plumbing repairs, and maintaining plumbing systems.
- General Maintenance Experience: Capable of performing general building upkeep and small-scale repairs.
- Independent Worker: Able to work unsupervised during shifts and handle a variety of tasks.
- Problem Solver: Adaptable and practical, with the ability to resolve issues efficiently, especially with plumbing and building maintenance.
- Experience in Critical Environments (Airport or similar) is a bonus but not essential.
