RG Set Square are currently looking for M & E specialists for a Commercial Electrician position.

Location: St Austell

Duration: 11 months +

Rate: Negotiable depending on duration

We are seeking a qualified Commercial Electrician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems and equipment in commercial buildings.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install, upgrade, and repair electrical wiring, systems, and fixtures.
  • Perform troubleshooting and diagnostics on electrical systems to identify issues.
  • Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other professionals to ensure optimal electrical design and installation.
  • Ensure all work complies with local and national safety codes and regulations.
  • Conduct routine inspections and maintenance on electrical equipment.
  • Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.

Qualifications required:

  • Must be able to pass a D&A test.
  • In date DBS or agree to one being actioned.
  • ECS card required.
  • City & Guilds 2357 - NVQ Level 3 Diploma in Electrical Installation.
  • City & Guilds 2382 - IET Wiring Regulations (BS 7671).
  • City & Guilds 2391 - Testing and inspection of electrical installations (Not a necessity but an advantage).
  • Any extra EAL Qualifications e.g., Level 3 Diploma in Electrical Installation (will be an advantage).
  • Any Safe Electricity Certification (will be an advantage).
  • Proven experience as a commercial electrician (min 3 years).
  • Strong understanding of electrical systems, wiring, and safety regulations.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Proven right to live and work in the UK.
  • Fluent in English.
