Day to day responsive repairs and maintenance. Permanent opportunity.

Setsquare has been appointed by a maintenance contractor to support with hiring an experienced Plumber, able to carry out day to day repairs and maintenance. The works will mostly be in the South Somerset areas, stretching over to Dorchester as well. This would therefore suit someone based in the Yeovil areas, or close to the Dorset/Somerset border.

The contractor specialises in carrying out social housing maintenance works, operating on behalf of public sector landlords; Housing Associations and Local Authorities and specifically working in occupied homes.

They would like an experienced Plumber, able to turn their hand to other skills such as:

  • tiling
  • basic carpentry (e.g. boxing in pipe work)
  • patch repair if required
  • silicone works

to offer the best and most efficient service to their end clients as possible. A company van and fuel card will be provided.

Please note that this is reactive repairs, so there will be an on-call and out of hours rota, that you will be invited to join. This is being offered on a temporary to permanent basis and is available to commence as soon as we find the right person with the right skill sets.
