Civil Engineering contractor having secured a large project South of Exeter are looking for a Site Setting out Engineer with large earthworks and infrastructure works project experience. This is a very long term contract assignment starting ASAP but the contractor will wait for the right person.
The appointed person will be working with the Site Management team and duties will include, but not be restricted to site setting out and coordination of site activities, working with groundwork and earthworks gangs to ensure works are delivered accurately, safely and with quality.
This role will require a qualification of ONC or above in a construction or civil engineering related discipline. Applicants must be able to demonstrate a background of major earthworks and concrete structures in a Site engineering role, having undertaken similar projects of significant value from contract start through to completion.
The selected person will be a key member of the site team and successful integration will lead to opportunities for further personal development and the possibility of permanent employment if desired. Day rate will be competitive and in line with expectations associated with a contractor of high regard. This is a chance to work with a highly desirable contractor.
