We are looking for Shift Managers to join a busy Slough Data Centre team. You will lead and supervise shift teams, ensuring maintenance tasks are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards in a business-critical environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate planned and reactive maintenance across building plant, equipment, and systems.
- Act as Authorised Person for all safety procedures, permits, and switching schedules.
- Ensure compliance with health & safety legislation and site policies, including L8 standards for water systems.
- Lead and mentor shift teams, monitor performance, and ensure all training requirements are met.
- Liaise with management and client personnel to maintain excellent service delivery.
- Manage incidents and ensure safe, professional operations at all times.
Essential Experience & Qualifications:
- Level 3 NVQ or equivalent in relevant discipline.
- HV Authorisation & Current Wiring Regulations certificate.
- Emergency First Aid at Work qualification.
- Experience in a similar role within data centres or critical environments.
- Strong knowledge of maintenance, BMS, PMS, Fire systems, and health & safety obligations.
- PASMA & IPAF preferred.
