We're looking for an experienced Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join our Facilities Management team on a static industrial site in Sheffield. This is a fantastic opportunity for a proactive, self-motivated engineer who enjoys working independently while building strong relationships with customers.
As the dedicated on-site engineer, you'll be the main point of contact, ensuring electrical systems are maintained to the highest standards through planned preventative maintenance and reactive repairs.
What you'll be doing:- Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) on electrical systems and equipment
- Diagnosing electrical faults and completing reactive maintenance efficiently
- Performing repairs to minimise downtime and maintain site operations
- Acting as the main customer contact on-site, providing excellent service and communication
- Completing maintenance records and ensuring all documentation is up to date
- Working safely and ensuring compliance with all Health & Safety procedures
- Taking ownership of a static site and managing your workload independently
- Experience carrying out electrical maintenance in an industrial, manufacturing, or commercial environment
- Strong knowledge of planned preventative maintenance (PPMs) and reactive maintenance
- Excellent fault-finding and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong communication skills and confidence in a customer-facing role
- Relevant electrical qualifications
