RGSS's client, a leading maintenance provider, are looking for a reliable Resident/Tenant Liaison Officer to join their team.
Location: Rochdale (OL11) with travel across Rochdale, Oldham, and Middleton
Salary: £14.50 per hour (PAYE)
Hours: 39 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
Start Date: ASAP
About the Role: We are currently seeking an experienced and customer-focused Resident Liaison Officer / Tenant Liaison Officer to support Facilities Management and planned works projects across Rochdale, Oldham and Middleton. Acting as the key point of contact between residents, clients and site teams, you will ensure effective communication throughout project delivery while maintaining excellent customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as the primary liaison between residents, clients, contractors and site teams.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with tenants and residents throughout project works.
- Arrange and manage resident appointments for surveys, inspections and works.
- Provide regular updates to residents regarding work schedules, progress and any changes.
- Prepare and distribute resident communications, including update letters and notices.
- Handle resident queries, concerns and complaints promptly and professionally.
- Maintain accurate project records, databases and tracking systems.
- Update internal trackers and ensure information is recorded correctly and in a timely manner.
- Support site teams with access arrangements and resident engagement activities.
- Conduct home visits where required to discuss works and address resident concerns.
- Escalate issues appropriately to project managers and senior stakeholders.
- Ensure all communications are delivered in line with company procedures and customer service standards.
- Travel regularly across Rochdale, Oldham and Middleton to support operational requirements.
Candidate Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Resident Liaison Officer, Tenant Liaison Officer, Customer Liaison Officer or similar customer-facing role within Housing, Construction or Facilities Management.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong administrative and organisational abilities.
- Experience managing appointments, correspondence and customer databases.
- Ability to work confidently with residents, clients and operational teams.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word and Excel.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle sensitive situations professionally.
- Full UK Driving Licence preferred.
