I am currently recruiting for a Monitoring Quantity Surveyor for a Quantity Surveying Practice / Contractor based in the northern home counties to work on projects within Residential & mixed Use projects in London and the home counties.
Key Responsibilities
- Due Diligence: Preparing initial reports on project viability, planning, insurance, and warranties
- Risk Assessment: Advising lenders on development risks and providing commercial advice
- Project Lifecycle: Monitoring progress, costs, and programs from inception through delivery and close-out
- Stakeholder Communication: Liaising with developers, lenders, and internal teams
Typical Requirements
- Qualifications: must be RICS, FRICS, MRICS, MCIOB, or similar chartered status
- Background: Experience in Building Surveying, Quantity Surveying (QS), Cost Management, or Employers Agency
- Skills: Strong commercial acumen, risk analysis, and report writing
