An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced and customer-focused Scheme Manager to join a well-established housing provider within a retirement living environment in Bedford. This is a rewarding role supporting older residents to live independently while ensuring the scheme is safe, welcoming, and well managed on a day-to-day basis. The position is initially temporary, with the opportunity to apply for the permanent role.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide day-to-day housing management support within a retirement scheme
  • Act as the main point of contact for residents, contractors, and visitors
  • Carry out regular health & safety checks and scheme inspections
  • Support residents with tenancy-related queries and wellbeing concerns
  • Report and monitor repairs and maintenance issues
