We're looking for an experienced Electrical Engineer to join a leading Facilities Management company supporting a major manufacturing site in Long Sutton. This is an excellent opportunity to work within a fast-paced FMCG production environment, ensuring critical electrical systems and plant equipment are maintained to the highest standards.
Working as part of a multi-skilled engineering team, you will play a key role in maximising plant uptime, reducing downtime, and supporting continuous production operations.
What you'll be doing:- Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance across electrical systems and building services equipment
- Diagnosing and rectifying electrical faults to minimise disruption to production
- Performing electrical testing, inspection, repairs, and fault finding activities
- Responding quickly to breakdowns and implementing effective corrective actions
- Supporting continuous improvement initiatives to enhance reliability and plant performance
- Working closely with the wider engineering team to maximise equipment availability
- Maintaining safe systems of work and ensuring full compliance with Health & Safety procedures
- Keeping accurate maintenance records and completing documentation as required
- Liaising effectively with colleagues and stakeholders to ensure service excellence
- Supporting the smooth operation of a busy manufacturing facility
- Essential: Proven experience as an Electrical Engineer within Facilities Management, manufacturing, industrial, or production environments
- Strong electrical fault-finding and diagnostic skills
- Good understanding of electrical systems, controls, and maintenance practices
- Experience delivering both planned and reactive maintenance activities
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multi-skilled engineering team
- Strong commitment to Health & Safety and statutory compliance
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Desirable: Experience within FMCG, food production, or manufacturing environments
- Involvement in continuous improvement initiatives

- City & Guilds, NVQ Level 3, 18th Edition, or equivalent electrical qualifications
