An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Project Manager to join a growing Power & Grid delivery team working on a major energy infrastructure project in the East Midlands. The successful candidate will be responsible for the end-to-end delivery of high-voltage substation and grid connection works, ensuring projects are completed safely, on programme, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the delivery of HV substation projects up to 400kV.
- Manage project programmes, budgets and resource plans.
- Coordinate design, procurement and construction activities.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety and environmental requirements.
- Manage subcontractors, suppliers and key stakeholders.
- Produce project reports and provide regular updates to senior management and clients.
- Drive performance against programme, quality and commercial objectives.
Requirements
- Proven experience delivering HV transmission and distribution projects.
- Strong background in substation construction and electrical infrastructure.
- Experience working on projects up to 400kV desirable.
- Knowledge of National Grid and/or DNO standards.
- Excellent stakeholder and client management skills.
- Commercial awareness with experience managing project budgets.
- Relevant engineering qualification preferred.
- SMSTS and other industry certifications advantageous.
