We are seeking a reliable and experienced Multiskilled Operative to join our team, specialising in bathroom installations while also supporting a range of general building and maintenance tasks. The ideal candidate will have strong plumbing expertise alongside skills in joinery and other trades, enabling them to complete projects to a high standard from start to finish.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out full bathroom installations, including removal, preparation, and fitting of new units.
- Perform plumbing tasks such as pipework installation, maintenance, repairs, and fixture fitting.
- Undertake joinery work including fitting units, doors, panels, and bespoke carpentry elements.
- Complete tiling, basic plastering, and finishing works as required.
- Ensure all work is carried out safely, efficiently, and in compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
- Diagnose faults and carry out repairs across multiple trades.
- Maintain a clean and organised work environment on-site.
- Liaise with customers, supervisors, and other trades to ensure smooth project delivery.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in bathroom installations and plumbing.
- Competency in joinery and general building works.
- Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively.
- Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Full UK driving licence (preferred/required depending on role).
- Relevant trade qualifications (NVQ 2 or equivalent) desirable.
