We are seeking a practical and customer-focused individual to join a busy maintenance team, carrying out a wide range of building fabric and plumbing works across hospitality properties throughout the Bournemouth area.
The Role
As a Multi-Skilled Operative, you'll be responsible for delivering high-quality maintenance and repair works, ensuring jobs are completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard.
Key Duties
- 1st and 2nd fix plumbing works
- General repairs and maintenance
- Installing and making good plasterboard
- Fitting skirting boards and boxing-in pipework
- Internal and external decorating
- Completing reactive and planned maintenance tasks
- Ordering and managing materials required for jobs
- Liaising directly with clients on-site
- Maintaining accurate job records and documentation
- Supporting the wider team to ensure works are delivered on time and within budget
About You
To be successful in this role, you'll have:
- Experience within building maintenance, facilities management, or property services
- A strong plumbing background
- Competency across general building fabric maintenance
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Experience using handheld devices or maintenance management systems
- The ability to work independently and manage your own workload
- A proactive and problem-solving approach
