Key Responsibilities

  • Surface Preparation: Levelling, latexing, and feather edging sub‑floors prior to installation.
  • Flooring Installation: Fitting anti‑slip sheet vinyl, cap‑and‑cove systems for wet rooms/shower rooms, carpet tiles, and LVT.
  • Tenant Liaison: Working in tenanted homes with care and respect, minimising disruption, and delivering great customer service.
  • Reactive Maintenance & Voids: Traveling to designated properties to repair damage or install full flooring in empty properties ready for new tenants.
  • System Management: Using a PDA or mobile smartphone device to manage job tickets, record times, and log completed work.

Essential Requirements

  • Qualifications: Prefer NVQ Level 2 in Floor Laying, not essential.
  • Experience: Proven track record in domestic/commercial floor laying, specifically with cap and cove and Altro/safety flooring.
  • Driving Licence: A full UK Driving Licence.
  • Expense: Van and fuel card provided.
  • Hours: 40 hrs per week.
