Our Client is a Top Tier Contractor looking for an experienced Construction Estimator/Bid Manager to help deliver a long-term framework of construction-based new build and refurbishment projects in the commercial, residential, care home, and government sectors. Projects typically range from £1 million to £15 million.
The ideal candidate will already be working in a similar construction role and have main contractor project experience. This is an exceptional role with an exciting company and involves not just pricing but also meeting clients and stakeholders on a regular basis.
As an Estimator/Bid Manager, you will have strong process-driven experience and take responsibility for:
- All Pricing
- Managing Bids
- Managing the construction programming through the cycle of the build and understanding the construction sequence and techniques employed
- Programme control and the co-ordination of trades, with the ability to adapt where required
- Adding cost and design input on the delivery process and end product
- Co-ordinating all design and project consultants
- Managing meetings with clients and stakeholders
