The predicted salary is between 30000 - 40000 £ per year.
We are looking for 4 experienced Mechanical Pipefitters to work on major energy centre, plantroom and district heating projects. You will install, modify, test and commission large bore carbon steel and stainless steel pipework, working from engineering drawings across commercial, industrial, healthcare and public sector sites.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Installing mechanical pipework including welded, screwed, flanged and grooved systems
- Fitting valves, pumps, heat exchangers and thermal stores
- Working on energy centres, boiler houses and plantrooms
- Pressure testing, flushing and commissioning
- Reading and interpreting engineering drawings
- Ensuring all work meets quality, compliance and safety standards
What We’re Looking For:
- Proven experience as a Mechanical Pipefitter
- Strong background in large bore carbon steel pipework
- Ability to work from engineering and fabrication drawings
- Experience in energy centres, plantrooms or district heating systems
- Knowledge of LTHW, MTHW, CHW, DHW systems
- NVQ Level 2/3, CSCS Skilled Worker Card, Full UK Driving Licence
