Our Client is a well run and expanding M+E Contractor looking for an experienced Mechanical Estimator to help deliver a long term framework of construction based new build and refurbishment projects in the commercial, residential, care home and government sectors. Projects typically range from £1million to £15million. This is a genuinely great place to work with an excellent working environment.
Responsibilities
- Preparation of detailed mechanical estimates across a range of projects
- Take-offs and pricing for HVAC, pipework, plant, and associated mechanical services
- Reviewing drawings, specifications, and tender documentation
- Liaising with suppliers and subcontractors
- Creating cost plans, value engineering options, and tender submissions
- Helping with project bids
- Helping manage quality delivery
About You
- Good experience as a Mechanical Estimator within building services or M+E contracting
- Strong technical understanding of mechanical systems and installation methods
- Experience of working with drawings, specifications, and estimating software
