Eden Brown are seeking a highly efficient Health and Safety Advisor on a 12 month FTC situated in Manchester.
The role as Health and Safety Advisor involves:
- To input into developing policies and procedures in relation to health and safety.
- To assist the H&S Manager in championing and embedding a strong and robust health and safety culture.
- To support the H&S Manager in implementing H&S systems.
- To support managers in ensuring effective H&S systems are being operated within all areas.
- To contribute to the risk assessment processes, including safe systems of work and COSHH, under the guidance of the H&S Manager.
- To work closely with the H&S Manager and the People and Talent team to help identify H&S training requirements.
- To assist in delivering H&S training where necessary.
- To assist in the preparation and reporting on H&S matters.
- To oversee the accident and incident management system and ensure investigations are completed in a timely manner.
- To provide advice and guide investigations for accidents and incidents deemed as lower risk.
- To oversee the lone worker system and liaise with managers to resolve any issues and ensure they effectively monitor usage within their teams.
- To oversee the PPE arrangements in line with statutory obligations.
- To coordinate the annual occupational health surveillance program and liaise with providers, colleagues and managers regarding any actions required.
- To oversee the provision of First Aid and Fire Marshall arrangements.
