I am currently recruiting for a supervisor / small works manager for a main contractor based in Bedfordshire to work on multiple small council works for existing properties within the Bedford area on an ongoing contract. Projects range from £5k up to £50k with works including new kitchens and bathrooms, re-plastering, new electrical installations, and external refurbishment works.

Key duties will be:

  • Manage multiple small works housing projects simultaneously from scope of works through to completion and handover
  • Plan, programme, and coordinate labour, materials, and subcontractors
  • Ensure projects are delivered on time
  • Liaise with residents
  • Work closely with the Council surveyors
  • Carry out site visits, progress reviews, and snagging inspections
