We're Hiring: Electrical Engineer
Location: Long Sutton. Salary: £40,000 plus benefits. Manufacturing Environment.
We're looking for an experienced Electrical Engineer to join a leading Facilities Management provider supporting a busy manufacturing site. This is a fantastic opportunity to work within a fast‑paced FMCG environment, helping to maximise plant uptime while maintaining safe and reliable electrical systems.
What you'll be doing:
- Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive electrical maintenance
- Diagnose faults and carry out repairs to minimise downtime
- Test, inspect, and maintain electrical systems and building services equipment
- Respond quickly to breakdowns and identify root causes
- Support continuous improvement initiatives across the site
- Work closely with engineering teams and site personnel to ensure efficient service delivery
- Follow all Health & Safety procedures and statutory compliance requirements
What we're looking for:
- Experience as an Electrical Engineer within Facilities Management, Manufacturing, or Industrial environments
- Strong electrical fault‑finding and maintenance experience
- Knowledge of electrical systems, controls, and building services
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multi‑skilled team
- Strong communication skills and a proactive approach to maintenance
Desirable:
- Experience within FMCG or food manufacturing environments
- Continuous improvement and root cause analysis experience
