Key Responsibilities
- Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance across mechanical building services systems.
- Maintaining and fault-finding on HVAC plant, pumps, motors, AHUs, FCUs, heating systems, and associated mechanical equipment.
- Responding promptly to breakdowns and ensuring minimal disruption to critical hospital operations.
- Completing maintenance activities in line with health and safety regulations and site procedures.
- Supporting statutory compliance and ensuring accurate completion of maintenance records.
- Working closely with the wider engineering team to maintain high standards of service delivery across the site.
- Participating in the shift rota covering both day and night shifts.
What We're Looking For
- Mechanical qualification such as City & Guilds, NVQ, Apprenticeship, or equivalent.
- Previous experience within commercial building services, healthcare environments, critical facilities, or facilities maintenance.
- Strong knowledge of HVAC systems and mechanical plant.
- Experience carrying out both planned and reactive maintenance.
- Strong fault-finding and problem-solving abilities.
- A team player who can perform effectively within a busy operational environment.
