Salary: Up to £45,000 per annum

Shift Pattern: 4 on / 4 off (Days & Nights Rotation)

Key Responsibilities

  • Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance across mechanical building services systems.
  • Maintaining and fault-finding on HVAC plant, pumps, motors, AHUs, FCUs, heating systems, and associated mechanical equipment.
  • Responding promptly to breakdowns and ensuring minimal disruption to critical hospital operations.
  • Completing maintenance activities in line with health and safety regulations and site procedures.
  • Supporting statutory compliance and ensuring accurate completion of maintenance records.
  • Working closely with the wider engineering team to maintain high standards of service delivery across the site.
  • Participating in the shift rota covering both day and night shifts.

What We're Looking For

  • Mechanical qualification such as City & Guilds, NVQ, Apprenticeship, or equivalent.
  • Previous experience within commercial building services, healthcare environments, critical facilities, or facilities maintenance.
  • Strong knowledge of HVAC systems and mechanical plant.
  • Experience carrying out both planned and reactive maintenance.
  • Strong fault-finding and problem-solving abilities.
  • A team player who can perform effectively within a busy operational environment.
