Location: Brent OR Ealing, London (covering Wembley, Harlesden, Kilburn, Willesden, Neasden, Cricklewood OR Southall, Greenford, West Ealing)
Pay: £22.95-£23.90 per hour (Umbrella) / OR £20.59 per hour PAYE (includes holiday pay)
Hours: Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm (42.5 hrs per week)
Contract: Temp to perm - roles will lead to permanent for right candidates
The Role
We're recruiting experienced Multi Traders for a new contract covering social housing maintenance across Brent/Ealing. You'll be carrying out day-to-day repairs and maintenance in both occupied and void properties.
You don't need to be skilled in every trade - but you should have a strong background in plumbing or carpentry, with some additional multi-trade skills an advantage.
Key Duties
- Plumbing and/or carpentry repairs in domestic social housing
- Installing, repairing and maintaining kitchens, bathrooms, doors and fittings
- Diagnosing and resolving minor maintenance issues quickly
- Basic tiling, patch plastering, or decorating (preferred but not essential)
- Using PDA/handheld device to log and close jobs
- Providing excellent tenant service when working in homes
