We are looking for an Electrical Mate to assist with electrical works for a client, supporting the Safer Homes team in delivering set programs. Tasks will include Quantum installations, bathroom and kitchen upgrades, electrical repairs, and general duties. This will be covering the West London area. You will be visiting properties and confirming the level of smoke detection, including Expiry Dates and Locations and level of protection within each property with photographic evidence. The role will be using our IT software, Total Mobile via a tablet to complete work complete forms as evidence. The role will not include a vehicle but will include costs of travel whilst at work.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with electrical installation and servicing under supervision in a safe and efficient manner.
- Prioritize timely completion of electrical works, aiming for first-time fixes.
- Maintain high-quality service and customer relationships, acting as an ambassador.
- Follow health and safety regulations, ensuring compliance with BS7671 standards.
- Complete paperwork and records accurately as per company policies.
- Collaborate with other teams to ensure excellent customer service.
- Undertake training as required to enhance skills.
- Perform other duties as required within the role.
Skills & Experience:
- At least 1 year of experience in electrical installation/maintenance.
- Knowledge of electrical systems and BS7671 compliance.
- Safety, Health, and Environment training.
- Full driving license with the ability to travel efficiently to customer locations.
- Physically capable of carrying out demanding work.
- DBS check required (funded by the client).
- ECS CARD.
Working Hours & Pay:
- Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
- £19.00 per hour UMBRELLA
- Travel expenses paid.
