We're looking for an experienced Electrical Engineer to join a leading UK Facilities Management provider supporting a prestigious critical healthcare contract.
This is an excellent opportunity to work within a highly regulated environment, maintaining critical electrical infrastructure that keeps essential services running safely and efficiently.
What You'll Be Doing
- Carrying out planned preventive maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance on electrical systems across the site.
- Diagnosing faults and carrying out repairs safely and efficiently.
- Maintaining lighting, power distribution, emergency lighting and associated electrical systems.
- Supporting statutory inspections, testing and certification requirements.
- Responding to emergency breakdowns and prioritising critical systems.
- Updating maintenance records using the CAFM system.
- Working closely with engineers, contractors and the Estates team.
- Following all Health & Safety procedures while working within a live critical environment.
What We're Looking For
- NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Electrical Installation or Electrical Engineering.
- 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (17th Edition considered).
- Experience within Facilities Management, Building Services or a similar maintenance environment.
- Strong fault‑finding and diagnostic skills.
- Good understanding of statutory compliance and safe working practices.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Desirable
- Previous experience within healthcare or other critical environments.
- Experience working on critical building services infrastructure.
- Experience using CAFM or maintenance management systems.
