We are currently recruiting for an experienced Electrical Engineer to join a large UK Facilities Management company, working on a key manufacturing contract in Long Sutton. This is an excellent opportunity to work within a fast-paced FMCG environment, supporting critical production operations and ensuring all electrical systems and services are maintained to the highest standard.
Key Responsibilities
- You will be responsible for delivering planned preventative maintenance (PPM), reactive maintenance, and fault diagnosis across a wide range of electrical systems and building services equipment.
- Working within a multi-skilled engineering team, you will help ensure maximum plant uptime, minimal disruption to production, and full compliance with statutory and safety regulations.
- Typical duties will include electrical fault finding, repairs, testing, inspection, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives across the site.
- You will also be expected to respond promptly to breakdowns, identify root causes, and implement effective corrective actions.
- You will play a key role in maintaining safe systems of work, ensuring all maintenance activities are carried out in line with company procedures, health and safety regulations.
