We're looking for an experienced Electrical Engineer to join a leading Facilities Management provider supporting a busy manufacturing site. This is a fantastic opportunity to work within a fast-paced FMCG environment, helping to maximise plant uptime while maintaining safe and reliable electrical systems.
Working as part of a multi-skilled engineering team, you'll play a key role in delivering planned and reactive maintenance to keep production running efficiently.
What you'll be doing:- Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive electrical maintenance
- Diagnosing faults and carrying out repairs to minimise downtime
- Testing, inspecting, and maintaining electrical systems and building services equipment
- Responding quickly to breakdowns and identifying root causes
- Supporting continuous improvement initiatives across the site
- Working closely with engineering teams and site personnel to ensure efficient service delivery
- Following all Health & Safety procedures and statutory compliance requirements
- Experience as an Electrical Engineer within Facilities Management, Manufacturing, or Industrial environments
- Strong electrical fault-finding and maintenance experience
- Knowledge of electrical systems, controls, and building services
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multi-skilled team
- Strong communication skills and a proactive approach to maintenance
- Experience within FMCG or food manufacturing environments
- Continuous improvement and root cause analysis experience
- £40,000 salary
