Our Client is a well run and expanding 2nd Tier Contractor looking for an experienced Mechanical and Electrical Quantity Surveyor to help deliver a long term framework of construction based new build and refurbishment projects in the commercial, residential and government sectors. Projects typically range from £1 million to £15 million. This is genuinely a great place to work with an excellent working environment.
The ideal candidate will already be working in a similar quantity surveying role on the Mechanical and Electrical side. This is an exceptional role with an exciting company and not just about pricing but meeting clients and stakeholders on a regular basis.
As a Quantity Surveyor, you will have strong process driven experience and take responsibility for:
- Preparation of detailed mechanical and electrical estimates across a range of projects
- Take-offs and pricing for HVAC, pipework, plant, and associated mechanical services
- Reviewing drawings, specifications, and tender documentation
- Liaising with suppliers and subcontractors
- Creating cost plans, value engineering options, and tender submissions
- Helping with project bids
- Helping manage quality delivery
