Deliver water hygiene and water treatment services across client sites. The role involves carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM), compliance monitoring, water treatment activities, remedial works, and customer support while ensuring full compliance with health, safety, quality, and environmental standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Temperature monitoring and water sampling
  • Showerhead descaling
  • Cold water storage tank inspections and cleaning
  • Cooling tower cleaning, disinfection, testing, and analysis
  • TMV servicing and testing
  • LTHW closed-loop testing, analysis, and chemical dosing
  • Steam boiler testing and water treatment analysis
  • Water softener servicing
  • Plumbing remedial works
  • Legionella control activities in line with ACOP L8 and HSG274 guidance

Essential Skills & Experience

  • Minimum 3 years' experience in water hygiene and/or water treatment
  • Strong knowledge of ACOP L8, HSG274, Water Supply (Water Fittings) Regulations 1999, and relevant industry guidance
  • Experience in water sampling, closed-loop systems, cooling towers, boilers, and water treatment chemistry
  • Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively
  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • Computer/PDA literate

Preferred Qualifications

  • City & Guilds, NVQ, or equivalent qualification in Plumbing, Heating, Water Treatment, or Chemistry
  • Legionella Awareness Training
  • TMV Servicing and Testing certification
  • Training in closed systems, cooling towers, disinfection, and steam boiler water treatment
