Job Title: Housing Advice & Homeless Prevention Officer\\n Location: London Borough of Hillingdon\\n Contract Type: Temporary Agency Contract\\n Start Date: 23rd June 2025\\n End Date: 31st October 2025\\n Hours: 36 hours per week (Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM)\\n Pay Rate: £27.38 per hour (Umbrella) \\n\\nWe are currently recruiting for an experienced Housing Advice & Homeless Prevention Officer on behalf of the London Borough of Hillingdon.\\n\\nThis is an exciting opportunity for a proactive housing professional to support clients resettling in the UK, helping them secure and sustain accommodation, while preventing homelessness through effective advice and outreach.\\n\\nKey Responsibilities:\\n\\nProvide expert housing advice to clients on housing options and homelessness prevention.\\n\\nSupport UK resettlement efforts through face-to-face outreach work-minimum two days per week-based in hotels.\\n\\nManage a caseload effectively, ensuring each case is handled with empathy, compliance, and within legislative frameworks.\\n\\nWork collaboratively with partner agencies, support networks, and internal departments.\\n\\nMaintain accurate case records and documentation in line with GDPR and council policy.\\n\\nRequirements:\\n\\nProven experience in housing advice, homelessness prevention, or a similar front-line service.\\n\\nSound knowledge of housing legislation, including the Homelessness Reduction Act.\\n\\nStrong communication and advocacy skills.\\n\\nComfortable with outreach work and working from hotel locations on-site.\\n\\nAble to work independently and manage time efficiently.\\n\\nTo apply, please send your up-to-date CV and right-to-work documents.
