RG are looking for a responsible and detail-oriented Horticultural Driver to support our interior landscaping Client across London. The role involves delivering, collecting, and assisting with the setup of plants, planters, living walls, and associated materials at client sites. This position requires careful handling of live plants, excellent customer service skills, and good knowledge of London's road network.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Load, transport, and deliver live plants, planters, tools, and installation materials to client locations across London.
  • Assist with installation or collection of interior landscaping features, including office plants, green walls, and seasonal displays.
  • Ensure proper handling and protection of plants during transit to avoid damage.
  • Check delivery schedules and routes daily to ensure timely deliveries.
  • Use GPS and route-planning tools to optimise delivery.
  • Carry out vehicle checks and report any issues.
  • Liaise with clients on-site when delivering or collecting, maintaining a professional and friendly manner.
  • Handle paperwork such as delivery notes, collection records, and job sheets.
  • Support the horticulture team during large installations or moves when required.
Requirements:
  • Full UK driving licence (clean or with minimal points).
  • Previous experience as a delivery driver or courier, ideally in horticulture, facilities, or a similar field.
  • Comfortable with moderate manual handling - lifting, loading, and unloading plants.
  • Good understanding of plant care basics (e.g., how to transport plants without damaging them).
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and problem-solve.
  • Flexibility to work early mornings or occasional weekends (especially during busy seasons or events).
  • Right to work in the UK.
  • Based in London with daily driving across Greater London and surrounding areas.
  • Work involves lifting and moving plants, planters, and associated materials.
  • Outdoor and indoor work required in various weather conditions.
  • Interaction with high-profile corporate clients and interior designers.
