We are seeking an experienced Roofing labourer to join our team delivering high-quality repairs and maintenance services across housing properties. Working across both occupied homes and empty properties, you will be responsible for completing a wide range of roofing repair, re-roofing, and associated works. You will take pride in delivering excellent workmanship while providing a professional and respectful service to residents and families. Hours of work: 40 hours, Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm Key responsibilities alongside a qualified roofer. ● Carrying out roof repairs, including tiling, slating, and felt/flat roof works ● Completing re-roofing and roof covering replacement works ● Undertaking leadwork, flashing, and guttering repairs and replacements ● Carrying out chimney, ridge, and verge repairs ● Identifying and repairing roof leaks and associated timber or structural defects ● Supporting responsive repairs and void property refurbishment works ● Making good areas following repair activities ● Ensuring all works are completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard, including safe use of access equipment ● Maintaining a professional and courteous approach when working in residents' homes ● Accurately recording completed works using PDA/mobile technology About You: ● Proven experience as a Roofing labourer across pitched and flat roofing systems ● Experience working within housing repairs, maintenance, or similar environments is desirable ● The ability to work independently and manage a varied workload ● Strong attention to detail and good problem-solving skills ● A commitment to delivering quality workmanship and excellent customer service ● A full UK driving licence ● A valid CSCS card ● Working at height / roofing-specific safety training (e.g. PASMA, IPAF) is desirable ● Experience using handheld devices or PDA systems is desirable Pay: £35,000.00 per year RG Setsquare is acting as an Employment Agency in relation to this vacancy
