Our client, a large public sector provider, is looking for an Electrical Supervisor in South Birmingham, offering £25 to £35 per hour for an initial 3-month period, with the expectation of extension.
Purpose of the Role: The Electrical Supervisor is responsible for:
- Coordinating and carrying out pre and post inspections on contractors' electrical and other associated domestic/communal works.
- Responding to technical queries in relation to responsive repairs, EICRs, and other electrical and security services.
- Managing, validating, and monitoring the council's compliance service and cyclical testing documentation records across the council's housing assets, ensuring compliance with all statutory regulations, approved Codes of Practice (ACOP), official guidance standards, and best practice.
- Ensuring the performance management system is followed to achieve effective compliance to agreed KPIs for each contract.
- Coordinating all electrical contracts to support the electrical compliance manager, as there are currently no internal electricians, only partnering contractors.
