I am currently looking for a HSQE Advisor for a Main Contractor based in Essex / London who work in and around the London and the M25 area with a current turnover of circa £40 million. Projects include new build, refurbishment & fit out works within commercial, healthcare, education and residential on projects ranging between £2 to £10 million.
Responsibilities
- Promote and ensure continued site wide commitment to achieving consistently high standards in Health and Safety on the project
- Advise site management & site staff on Health and Safety matters
- Undertake site visits & inspections
- Conduct site Health & Safety compliance inspections
- Assist in the production, monitoring and review of method statements, risk assessments and work package plans
- Investigate accidents and incidents to identify root cause
- Review company and subcontractor compliance paperwork
- Assist in the preparation of Health & Safety packs
- Project administration
- Support the lead HSQE Manager
- Attend client Health & Safety meetings/forums as required
Qualifications
- Health & Safety experience
- Multi-sector experience within construction (residential, industrial, commercial, education, healthcare)
