We are currently seeking an experienced Housing Officer on a temporary basis, to match a patch of properties across Southampton and the surrounding areas. This is an excellent opportunity for a Housing Officer looking for an immediate start, with the flexibility of remote working combined with travel to your allocated patch. The Role As a Housing Officer, you will be responsible for delivering a high quality housing management service to residents, managing your allocated patch and working proactively to resolve tenancy and housing related matters. Your responsibilities will include: Managing a designated housing patch and maintaining positive relationships with residents. Carrying out tenancy and estate management duties. Conducting property visits and inspections as required. Dealing with tenancy breaches, anti-social behaviour and other tenancy-related issues. Supporting residents with housing-related enquiries.About You We are looking for someone with previous Housing Officer/Housing Management experience, ideally within a housing association or local authority setting. You will be: Experienced in managing a housing patch or caseload. Confident dealing with residents and challenging situations. Knowledgeable about tenancy management and housing legislation. Organised, proactive and able to manage your own workload. An excellent communicator, both written and verbal. Comfortable working independently in a remote environment.
