Cleaner - Part-Time Evening Positions Locations: Dunbar, Haddington, Tranent & Prestonpans Pay Rate: £13 - £14.50 per hour Contract Types Available: 20 Hours & 30 Hours per Week Working Pattern: Monday to Friday Join Our Team We are looking for reliable and hardworking Cleaners to join our team working within local schools across Dunbar, Haddington, Tranent and Prestonpans. Available Contracts 30-Hour Contract Monday to Thursday: 4:00pm - 10:00pm Friday: 12:30pm - 6:30pm 20-Hour Contract Monday to Thursday: 4:00pm - 8:00pm Friday: 12:30pm - 4:30pm Key Responsibilities As a School Cleaner, your duties will include: Cleaning classrooms, corridors, offices and communal areas Vacuuming, sweeping and mopping floors Cleaning washrooms and replenishing consumables Emptying bins and disposing of waste appropriately Dusting and sanitising surfaces Ensuring all cleaning tasks are completed to a high standard Following health and safety procedures at all times What We're Looking For Reliable, punctual and trustworthy individuals Ability to work independently and as part of a team Good attention to detail Previous cleaning experience is beneficial but not essential, as training will be provided Important Information As this role involves working within a school, successful applicants will be required to undergo a PVG (Protecting Vulnerable Groups) check. We will arrange and pay for the PVG application process.
